The costly nature of living in Hong Kong has prevented many people from taking that step into becoming entrepreneurs as the costs of starting up a business can often be too much. Even though the Hong Kong government wants Hong Kong to be a start-up and innovation hub, based on Business Insider, Hong Kong does not even rank in the top 20 countries as a start-up hub. Yes it is an easy place to register a business, but finding the seed capital to help you get going, and then turning it into a profit making organisation is a very different challenge. We have learnt from experience, as one our founders is an entrepreneur having setting up an executive search firm four years ago, that there is huge opportunity to help start-ups and entrepreneurs in Hong Kong.
