After dealing with the limitations of the existing system during his wife’s battle with breast cancer, serial entrepreneur Eric Lefkofsky began building the team, platform, and partnerships to amass one of the largest libraries of clinical and genomic data in the world and make precision medicine a reality for more people. Our Conviction We were confident in the market opportunity (healthcare, after all, is one of the largest and most ripe-for-disruption sectors) and drawn to Tempus’s mission to make sure each patient receives the right treatment to live a longer and healthier life.
