We named our firm after the mantle of responsibility that comes with these important stewardship roles. Mantle Ridge’s approach is informed by extensive research and a depth of experience in value investing, activist engagements, corporate governance, and business operations, in a range of industry sectors. FOUNDER Paul Hilal is the Founder and CEO of Mantle Ridge LP. Over the past two decades, he has built a strong record as an engaged or activist investor, and as a passive value investor. Mr. Hilal has since 2022 served as Vice Chairman of Dollar Tree, Inc. (NasdaqGS:DLTR), a discount variety retail store.
