MacKenzie, Jr. and Joshua B. Parker (the Principals ) out of their desire to find innovative investments for themselves and their families, friends and colleagues. Each of the Principals has more than thirty years of investing and business experience. GAA seeks investments that ideally (i) have little to no correlation to the public equity markets, (ii) can weather the ups and downs of a typical business cycle, and (iii) offer what GAA believes to be high reward/risk ratios. To find these investments, GAA focuses on opportunities that are not available to the general public and are either too small or too innovative for larger institutional-style investors or funds. To succeed, many of these investments require more than just capital. The combined experience of the Principals at GAA gives us the ability to provide additional resources, which might include mentoring and/or active interaction on matters affecting a company s value and future, such as long-term corporate planning and management best practices.
