Previous to Arthedge, he co-founded and was the vice president of strategy of Webridge Inc. Now as part of Huron Consulting Group, more than 150 people still work on the software platform he had pioneered, and its compliance and grant-management products are still being used at all the premier research institutions in the country (Harvard Medical School, Johns Hopkins, Mayo Clinic, UCSF etc.) Prior to Webridge, Arun held senior engineering and strategic positions at IBM (Sequent) and Intel. He conceived and led the development of highly scalable multiprocessor networking technology, similar to what is now known as Cloud Computing. Clients included the very first download server at Netscape. Arun has a long-held interest in neuroscience and cognitive psychology and has successfully published peer-reviewed papers using modern brain imaging techniques in collaboration with leading scientists at Oregon Health Science University and University of Oregon.
