It s a lonely journey. At Least in the beginning. Takes time for things to fall in place. Sometimes forever. People talk. They hear but seldom listen. Free advice is rampant. Biases become evident. Family gets nervous. Friends seem to like what I do, yet suggest alternatives. Money looks like a pipe dream. Somebody believes. Then let s go. Comes back again. So much to do. Time flying by. Shake hands with a partner. A few others say they are ready to pitch in. Will this be my core team ? The world seems to be moving, leaving me behind. Is my technology best-in-class ? Someone just got funded. Need to put my foot through that door. Meanwhile, another startup got acquired. Need to settle. Make some money. Pay my bills. Customer is playing hard to get. Is philanthropy dead ? A zillion options. But I have this idea. I can bring change. Talent exists. And what is missing can be brought in. The concept can make wonders. I believe it. Feel inspired.
